Musica Poetica is a London-based period instrument ensemble dedicated to performing music by Baroque mainstays, as well as works by lesser-known composers. In recent times, the ensemble has become increasingly busy as an orchestra for hire by choirs and choral societies.

The group is run by keyboard specialist, Oliver John Ruthven, and bass singer, Christopher Webb.

In 2017, a concert series which showcased the German composer, Franz Tunder, led to the ensemble’s debut recording in 2018 on the Veterum Musica record label.
